HP Pre 3 Web OS Smartphone: Tech Specs, Price and Pre-Order Details
HP has just revealed the third edition of the smartphone Pre, after the acquisition of Palm. It seems that Hewlett Packard will climb the bandwagon of dual-core with HP Pre 3. It was announced initially with a 1.4 GHz processor single core, but eventually will integrate a dual-core chip at 1.2 GHz.
The HP Pre 3 has a touch screen Super AMOLED Plus 3.6 inch which is perfectly complemented by the QWERTY keyboard slider, although it has slightly improved the feel of the keys. The camera is 5 megapixels and mobile stands out for having a 1.4 GHz processor at a time which still dominate the 1GHz Snapdragon. Be marketed in two models, one with 8GB and another 16GB.
The design remains the same as the Pre Palm original, curvy and slightly sleek, which makes it very manageable and comfortable to use despite its small size.
Pre 3 comes with HP WebOS 2.2, a robust operating system, very colorful and usability level is much better than Android but with the great downside of not having achieved a user base large enough to encourage developers to create applications.
In WebOS, everything is simple to do and everything is by hand, just one step from where we are. In addition, the bottom bar with the most important icons is always a good telephone access for beginners. WebOS strives to use our experience enjoyable.
