Samsung Galaxy S3: What Can We Expect | New Design and Features

| January 18, 2012 | 3 Comments

After CES 2012, all eyes are on Mobile World Congress (MWC 2012) which will be full of surprises. And Samsung Galaxy S3 is likely to be revealed in this event starting 27th Feb 2012. Before they say something officially, let’s see what is expected:

After a year of rumors, Samsung is likely to unveil it’s flagship continuing with Galaxy S3. No doubt, they will strive to maintain their reputation built in last two years with this device.

Galaxy S3 Screen

Samsung might increase the screen size from 4.3 inch which was of their previous model and make it near 4.6 inches. Not more than that because 5 inches will then touch the limit of another model Galaxy Note. So the figure 4.6 sounds sensible and very much possible.

This growth of such an important part in a phone would conveniently accompanied by greater resolution, namely 1280 × 720 pixels. The technology chosen for her would be a Super AMOLED Plus coverage Gorilla Glass and a density of 319 dpi.

Now, what we have to see is whether Samsung would give the screen some curvature using the FOLED technology.

Galaxy S3 Design: Outer Finish and Thickness

There is nothing secret but just the surprise about the design that can we expect about Galaxy S3 Design. Just take a good look at Galaxy Nexus and expect something similar. The innovation could come by the finish, which could become metallic, but then it would no more be light weight.

Increased screen and the probable elimination of the middle button in physical form may provide an interesting design to the Galaxy S3, with a very narrow frame in the style of the new TVs.

More Power and Better Camera

By the time we know the company Samsung producing more powerful processors than the current S2 Galaxy, it is impossible to think that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will not give be a big jump in power at the hands of a quad core at 1.8 GHz (possibly a Exynos 4212) and to accompany 2 GB of RAM and maybe a new internal space: 64 GB. It remains unclearn whether there will slot for microSD.

If Samsung knows what it does, despite the improvement in consumption that would come with the new processor, the battery should offer hope to those suffered heavy users of smartphones. There is talk of 2250 mAh capacity, which is not surprising if we read the promise of the company this year.

In terms of connectivity, Samsung should give everything to your new Galaxy, starting with NFC and LTE and ending with Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0-Direct

In the section of the camera , the increase in megapixels is almost certain. Today that figure is still sold, as they did years ago compact cameras. The media figure could be 12 megapixels.

Fortunately, the latest rumors are that there will be developments in the sensor size (one speaks of a 1/2.3) and that really would be a great joy and reason to believe in the Galaxy S3 as a compact camera.

Ice Cream Sandwich on Top

And Finally, it is certain that the device will be powered by Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 but whether Samsung will remove their customizations is unclear.

Now, it’s upto you. What do you expect from Samsung Galaxy S3, Affordable Price?
